Cheaty lamb-rub lamb (serves two)
Ingredients:
4 small lamb steaks, or lamb chops
one big onion
fresh rosemary
for the rub:
one knorr lamb stock cube
half a tsp squeezy garlic
1 tsp olive oil
1) Preheat the oven to ... I dunno, "medium-hot".
2) Squidge up the ingredients for the rub, and rub it all over the lamb steaks
3) Slice the onion into chunky rings and lay them in the bottom of a baking tray
4) Put three or four sprigs of fresh rosemary on top of the onion
5) Lay the rubbed-up lamb on top of the rosemary
6) Cook for 20-30 mins (depending on how you like your lamb)
Remove the rosemary before serving (it's bitter). Nice with peas and new potatoes (the lamb, that is, not the rosemary. Throw the rosemary away. Bad rosemary). Make a gravy, if you like, using the juices from the pan, but you will need to spoon off some of the oil first - lambs are greasy little buggers.
Bosh.
